The Day Brightener

Because everyone has the right to be truly free and happy

To Thine Own Self Be True

Here is a special little message for you from He-He The Day Brightener.

If you have had a chance to read any of He-He’s adventures ( you will know what a precious little fellow he is. He spends his days bringing light, hope and peace to those he meets. He is altruism and connectedness in action.

To be honest with you though, there are some days that I envy our little Day Brightener. He is always so sure about what he is there to do each day. Sometimes he may worry about how best to help, but he never questions his gift or the need to share it with the world. Many times I struggle with myself, holding back for fear of what other people may think.

And so this little message is He-He’s way to remind us all to follow our hearts, and be true to our own gifts and dreams. May He-He give us all the little bit of courage we need today to be and give of ourselves completely. Who knows what lives we may touch in the process?

Hi Belinda… it was lovely to meet you at the Happiness and it’s Causes Conference in Brisbane last week!

And thanks for this great reminder…
I’ve certainly experienced ups and downs in being true to myself through the years. With all the ‘noise’ in the world (media, professionals, peers, etc) it can be difficult to hear your own voice to be true to.And it seems that the more comfortable I get with maybe ‘being wrong’, then the more comfortable I am with expressing the true me rather than being so swayed by the noise 🙂

Hello Cathy and likewise – it was an absolute pleasure meeting you. I have just seen the most beautiful talk on vulnerability, which I am just about to post. It really resonates with you thoughts, I hope you enjoy it too!
