The Power of Vulnerability

“To feel this vulnerable means I am truly alive”

I would like to share with you a very special talk, by a very special woman.  Here name is Brene Brown, and she has some truly deep and beautiful insights into the power of vulnerability.  Every day we harden our hearts and close ourselves off from feeling vulnerable.  But instead of making us stronger we only feel more insecure, and what is even worse, in the process we prevent ourselves from feeling pure love and joy.

Here are Brene’s thoughts on why we numb ourselves from feeling truly alive, and what we can do to embrace our vulnerability and live whole heartedly.

I have been thinking about this topic recently. It was amazing to discover your site (from your comments about Matthieu Ricard) and see this video about the importance of not avoiding negative emotions in order to live a more fulfilling life. Thanks for sharing your kindness. Your web is beautiful.

A big warm and heartfelt thank you Antonio for your kind words. It has truly made my day. Yes, Brene Brown’s talk has really opened my eyes to the joy we so often cut ourselves off from. Isn’t life just great that we get to learn these things before it is too late! I hope you have a wonderful day!
